responsibilities:
- Analyze existing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, converting them from image files into modern vector formats.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation to design, draft, and prepare accurate 2D and 3D models to support the update to new distributed control systems (DCS).
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal project engineers and external consultants to guarantee all electrical connections and controls are accurately represented and functional.
- Review and interpret detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications to create and revise working drawings and contract documents.
- Drive the transformation from physical control panels to DCS by proactively applying strong electrical aptitude, industrial background, and motor control expertise.
