Remote! Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineers to lead the design and analysis of Turbine Hot Gas Path and Rotor components. You will leverage ANSYS and NX to ensure hardware meets strict CTQ standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams on system optimization. This role requires 4 to 8 years of experience and a strong background in design for manufacturability.

responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical design and evaluation of Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative gas turbine components, specifically focusing on hot gas path and rotor hardware.
- Execute hardware designs using sound engineering practices to ensure all components adhere to business standards, design practices, and program requirements.
- Participate in and lead formal technical reviews for all design tasks, presenting outputs to Controlled Title Holders via documented NPI and RCA processes.
- Collaborate with Heat Transfer, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams to optimize sub-systems for lifecycle cost, variation, and manufacturability.
- Work closely with Global Supply Chain and Cross-Functional Engineering teams to meet product CTQs and support component-level optimizations.
