We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in Largo, FL to work at an industry leading manufacturing company. Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience and direct hands-on layout optimization.
This is a 6-month contract position with very high likeliness of extension and hiring as a direct-hire employee.

responsibilities:
- Extensive us of AutoCAD 2D, document the current layout
- Propose a future state layout of roughly 100,000sqft
- Improve the efficiency of manual operations by layout change to reduce footprint
- Move and optimze our final assembly lines
- Implement automation at our Final Assembly and Packaging
- For any new layout, extensively working with our Production team and stakeholders to ensure all buy-in
- Lead and/or assist in process improvements that are critical to new layout arrangements
