responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international transportation, ensuring on-time delivery and directing safe material handling, including forklift and crane operation.
- Maintain strict compliance with all federal DOT, international trade, and Customs regulations across the U.S. business divisions.
- Supervise and audit crucial export-import documentation, such as bills of lading and NAFTA certifications, to guarantee continuous SOX compliance.
- Advise and train internal stakeholders on trade controls while translating regulatory changes into actionable operational procedures.
- Oversee third-party customs brokers and collaborate with internal teams to identify preferential trade cost savings and implement corrective actions.
