responsibilities:
- Take lead on installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and inspecting commercial fire alarm systems
- Use field experience to diagnose problems, repair systems issues, and work through technical challenges with confidence and efficiency
- Read plans, wiring diagrams, and systems specs with ease, turning them into quality field execution on commercial projects
- Act as a go-to leader on job sites by mentoring junior technicians, setting the tone for quality work, and helping the team succeed
- Stay on top of NFPA codes, testing requirements, and local regulations, ensuring systems are compliant and safe
- Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, customers and field teams to keep projects moving smoothly and communication clear
- Bring 5+ years of fire alarm experience, proven troubleshooting instincts, leadership ability and a professional field presence (NICET Certification and multi-state licensing are a plus)
