An Assistant Quality Superintendent is needed for a leading Construction Organization. The Assistant Quality Superintendent will to lead field-focused quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will take ownership of trade management and oversee the quality team to ensure all installations meet strict project specifications and construction schedules. By collaborating closely with subcontractors, owners, and architects, you will drive the successful execution of QA/QC programs from pre-installation through final inspection.
Candidates must possess 5+ years of field construction or management experience on similarly sized projects, paired with a solid background in electrical and mechanical systems. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent training is required, along with proficiency in QA/QC tracking technologies and construction platforms like Bluebeam, BIM360, and Smartsheet. Blueprint reading skills and the ability to identify document redundancies are essential to succeed. This is adirect-hire role and relocation is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Oversee field inspections with trade partners, verify checklist accuracy, and review mockups with clients and architects to ensure high-standard installations
- Provide field leadership for trade management, oversee the site quality team, and support office-based documentation to maintain the construction schedule
- Participate in trade pre-installation meetings and engage in the submittal review process ahead of construction to identify and resolve quality concerns
- Read and interpret complex construction plans and specifications to proactively identify and resolve design errors or redundancies
- Coordinate and resolve project punch lists, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), completion lists, and deficiency logs utilizing designated tracking software
