Growing manufacturer in Winesburg, OH is seeking a Maintenance Millwright to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment and a strong technical aptitude in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experience with heavy equipment repair, welding, and machinery troubleshooting is highly preferred, as well as a willingness to complete a specialized apprenticeship.
This opportunity is paid hourly and offers the opportunity for overtime.

responsibilities:
- Tear down faulty machinery, troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic failures, replace worn or defective components, and reassemble equipment for proper operation.
- Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, hydraulic systems, and service equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Install new machinery and accessories or relocate existing equipment across the plant floor.
- Set up and operate shop tools like grinders and drill presses to fabricate or modify replacement parts.
- Perform electric and acetylene welding, as well as torch cutting for repairs and equipment modifications.
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and structural repairs on walls, floors, roofs, plant structures, and office furnishings.
- Install light fixtures and switches, replace blown fuses, and fix faulty wiring.
- Maintain outside facilities, structures, and parking areas to keep them in proper condition.
- Follow work orders, technical drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, and both written and verbal instructions to complete tasks.
- Log, track, and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all performed inspections and repairs.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and pulleys safely to move and position heavy parts, equipment, and materials.
- High School diploma or GED required; Technical degree, certification, or completed trade coursework preferred.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing maintenance or industrial repair role.
- strong foundational knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical components, metalworking, and basic electrical systems.
- Willingness and ability to complete a 3-year structured apprenticeship program focusing on advanced electrical and hydraulic specialization.
- Must be reliable, able to work with minimal supervision, and flexible to work any shift or overtime as needed.
