responsibilities:
- Lead the design, modification, and implementation of processes for the manufacture and molding of metallic, plastic, and composite materials for large-scale construction.
- Analyze material components to establish mechanical and physical properties, evaluate experimental test results, and review operating data to ensure optimal performance.
- Independently prepare material selection diagrams, conceptual designs, and detailed materials corrosion engineering reports for clients.
- Drive materials engineering efforts by collaborating closely with specialty groups, clients, vendors, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Provide expert technical assistance to resolve complex material, welding, and corrosion issues while guiding construction management on project compliance and reviewing the work of other specialists.
