responsibilities:
- Source and procure both direct (manufacturing materials, retail products) and indirect (office supplies, maintenance) goods and services.
- Lead supplier selection and continuously negotiate pricing and terms to maximize operational efficiency.
- Independently manage complex procurement projects and processes with minimal supervision.
- Provide mentorship by coaching and reviewing the work of junior procurement professionals.
- Resolve difficult and highly complex supply chain problems by applying advanced industry knowledge.
