responsibilities:
- Conduct product, prototype, safety, and EMC testing in compliance with UL, CSA, and IEC standards, carefully analyzing data to ensure all performance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with design engineers on prototype assembly and component evaluation, while troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical circuits down to precision surface-mount soldering.
- Design, build, and maintain mechanical and electrical test fixtures, utilizing standard laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and LabVIEW-based systems to collect accurate measurements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test reports for third-party certification agencies and assist with ISO/IEC 17025 assessments to support ongoing laboratory accreditations.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and regulatory requirements, traveling domestically or internationally to external accredited facilities to support critical certification activities.
