Remote position. Large utility is looking for a Document Control Specialist, responsible for organizing and managing the routing of engineering and technical documents throughout the document lifecycle, including conceptualization, review, approval, distribution, revision control, and final filing. This role ensures that all project documentation is accurately maintained, properly distributed, and compliant with established procedures and quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of engineering and technical documents, coordinating their routing, review, distribution, and archival processes.
- Establish, update, and maintain document control tracking databases and logs to ensure strict version control and seamless accessibility.
- Develop, revise, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for documentation to align with company requirements.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to support project teams and facilitate efficient information flow.
- Conduct regular quality checks to guarantee all documentation complies with required project guidelines and document control standards.
