Global Manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Allentown, PA! Develop new product ideas from initial concept to production launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Sales to bring mechanical components to market. You will bring engineering lab experience in prototyping, rapid design validation or product inspections. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar, 5+ years of experience with piping, pressure vessels or fluid controls and SolidWorks. responsibilities:
- Develop initial conceptual product designs and FEA models into production ready parts
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, lab and sales to bring products to market
- Analyze designs in Abaqus, 3D scanning or SolidWorks to optimize design process
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Similar
- 5+ years of piping, pressure vessel or fluid control design
- Abaqus preferred, working knowledge in SolidWorks, Python or 3D scanning
