A prominent manufacturing company in the Baltimore area is seeking a Lead Chemical Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on, plant based role. This role reports to the Technical Director and is a top priority hire for her! The Lead Chemical Engineer should have experience with fluid dynamics and liquid transport. Sizing of piping and material compatibility is a large part of this role. Process optimization and equipment upgrades will be key for this position. This is a top priorty search, salaried up to $160K plus bonus for the right candidate.

responsibilities:
- Insure that safety is the number one priority in all Pourline department activities and that all safety procedures are followed by all members of the Pourline team.
- Monitor daily foam production and supervise the pour line hourly workforce as part of the training process.
- Adjust formulas as needed to maintain product within specifications.
- As part of the pour line team, conduct trials to develop new and improved manufacturing processes and foam formulations
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and solve process issues.
