Our client is seeking a Process Engineer. This is a hybrid position for a client based out of Cleveland, OH. Candidates must be willing to travel for meetings in Cleveland to handle issues onsite. The Process Engineer will be responsible for handling projects from cradle to grave. You must live in OH or close to the Ohio boarder, and have at least 2-3 years of experience working in the food manufacturing industry. You will also need an Associate's Degree in Engineering (a Bachelor's is preferred) and 3 + years of experience managing projects.

responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for designing and developing new or updated process systems as well as custom fabrications from start to finish for processing plants in the food, beverage, dairy, and other sanitary industries.
- Writes up quotation packages to send out to customers.
- Provides backup documentation for processed quotes.
- Assumes responsibility for the installation of process systems.
- Oversees site installation.
- Troubleshoots and solves issues as they arise.
- Serves as the project manager and coordinates with each department.
- Assumes responsibility for the design of custom fabrication projects
- Coordinates with the purchasing manager and installation team.
- Communicates with customers throughout every stage of the project.
- Keeps customers informed on abilities to meet deadlines.
- Informs customers of any issues on the job that may impact timeline of completion.
- Keeps sales manager in that territory informed on job progress
- Keeps up to date on changes in the industry by self-education, company provided trainings, and vendor trainings.
