Our Client, a global tech leader and industry pioneer in electrification and automation, is seeking an R and D Engineer in Bloomfield, CT to help build a sustainable future. This role requires a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of mechanical design experience, and strong PTC Creo/Windchill skills.

responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and analyze complex products and systems to ensure they meet stringent functional, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.
- Execute technical designs using solid modeling software (PTC Creo and Windchill PLM) to create comprehensive 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Develop and implement specialized designs incorporating sheet metal enclosures, busbar systems, plastics, and electrically conductive components.
- Act as a principal investigator or team lead to investigate complex engineering problems, develop innovative technical solutions, and prepare related action plans.
- Interface effectively with internal teams and external customers to resolve significant technical issues, improve operations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
