Our client, a mission-driven company empowering the planet, seeks an Energy Marshal in Annapolis Junction, MD to oversee hazardous energy control for data center projects. This role requires 7+ years of experience in electrical systems, mission-critical environments, and LOTO protocols.

responsibilities:
- Act as Our Client's independent representative to oversee, govern, and ensure compliance of the Energy Isolation (LOTO) program across all project phases.
- Align and coordinate high-risk energy isolation activities among General Contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to protect personnel and minimize risk to live operations.
- Review and validate contractor MOPs, SOPs, Job Hazard Analyses, and permit-to-work documentation to guarantee all hazardous energy sources are identified and controlled.
- Conduct regular field audits of mechanical and LV/MV/HV electrical isolations to verify adherence to safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E), escalating risks and ensuring corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary electrical safety SME, providing technical guidance on arc flash mitigation while maintaining the authority to challenge or stop unsafe work practices.
