responsibilities:
- Proactively expedite assigned equipment and materials to ensure on-time site delivery aligned with project schedules, regularly reviewing vendor schedules to mitigate potential risks and delays.
- Manage the seamless flow of vendor documentation (e.g., drawings, RFIs, Inspection Test Plans) between vendors, engineering, and internal teams to ensure prompt reviews and complete approvals.
- Build robust relationships and maintain regular communication with cross-functional teams and vendors, which includes scheduling, chairing, and minuting vendor supply meetings.
- Assist with site delivery logistics, verify invoice accuracy, and collaborate with vendors to resolve freight claims, shipment errors, and quantity discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate electronic records for timely purchase order and contract closeouts, while also coaching new hires and vendors on expediting best practices.
