A nationally recognized electrical contractor is seeking an Engineer II to support complex design-build projects across its growing Central Region. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of electrical engineering or design experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and a desire to learn, solve problems independently, and contribute to project success. Experience with power distribution, electrical calculations, power studies, and design-build environments is highly preferred, while candidates actively pursuing their FE or EIT are encouraged to apply.

responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design efforts and own portions of projects with limited oversight.
- Perform electrical calculations, power studies, and system analysis.
- Develop power distribution, lighting, and electrical system designs.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout project execution.
- Support construction activities through field visits, design reviews, and technical problem-solving.
- 2+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience with the ability to independently own project tasks and scopes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical or Civil Engineering backgrounds may also be considered).
- FE completed, EIT obtained, or actively pursuing professional licensure preferred.
- Communication skills with the ability to explain technical work, perform electrical calculations/studies, and collaborate with clients and project teams.
