Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing is looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer for their New Kensington, PA location. Key qualifications include, 4+ years of experience in design quality, quality engineering, or reliability. A bachelor's degree in a technical field, Electrical, Mechanical, Bioengineering or relevant field is required.

responsibilities:
- Reliability Planning & Execution: Partner with product engineering and project teams to establish comprehensive reliability plans, defining the specific tasks, tools, and analyses required for new product success.
- Risk & Statistical Analysis: Perform rigorous data modeling-including Weibull analysis, regression modeling, hazard analysis, and Design FMEAs-to predict design life, set targets, and forecast warranty trends.
- Stress & Accelerated Testing: Conduct component and system-level stress testing, utilizing HALT and HAST methodologies to identify hidden failure modes, mitigate safety risks, and validate product requirements.
- Root Cause & Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional quality efforts in root cause failure analysis, implementing effective corrective actions to significantly reduce warranties and boost customer satisfaction.
- Design & Manufacturing Collaboration: Participate in design reviews to ensure product and process robustness, qualify new manufacturing technologies, and deliver technical training on quality statistics.
