We are seeking three motivated, highly thorough Software Test Engineers to join our global Sleep & Respiratory Care division on a long-term hybrid contract basis. In this role, you will focus on the development, deployment, and tracking of both manual and automated verification tests for our next-generation sleep therapy and ventilator systems. Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, you will play a critical part in validating life-enhancing software solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous safety, regulatory, and quality requirements before reaching providers and patients.

responsibilities:
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated testing scripts for embedded medical device software platforms.
- Perform technical testing tasks to schedule, ensuring software outputs line up perfectly with product requirements.
- Analyze system specifications and product requirements to build structured test cases and verification models.
- Log, track, and manage software defects, performing root-cause analysis using standardized diagnostic techniques.
- Partner with development squads across departments to help achieve group milestones, sprint goals, and overall project objectives.
- Proactively provide standard technical alternatives and fixes to common software issues discovered during verification cycles.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 2 years of professional software testing experience (candidates holding a Master's degree require 0+ years of active experience).
Direct, hands-on testing or software development experience within the medical device manufacturing industry.
Possess an active, valid ISTQB Advanced Certification (or equivalent internationally recognized advanced testing credential).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Practical experience writing or maintaining test automation workflows utilizing C#.
Basic familiarity with engineering practices surrounding embedded system architectures, real-time operating systems, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of documenting test summaries within highly regulated corporate compliance matrixes.
