responsibilities:
- Act as the vital link between engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the flawless manufacturability of new designs and a smooth production ramp-up.
- Support Product Development by selecting and optimizing tools and manufacturing concepts tailored to specific production quantities, locations, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with research and development teams to produce product samples, prototypes, and sample manufacturing equipment.
- Manage individual small projects or tasks, which includes using CAD/CAE tools to create and modify detailed conceptual models and drawings from rough sketches and layouts.
- Apply foundational knowledge of general engineering and quality methodologies such as LEAN, 6-sigma, DoE, and FMEA to project tasks and production improvements.
