responsibilities:
- Direct the daily activities of production test personnel, ensuring all components and assembled products meet rigorous quality standards and objectives.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in developing hardware-in-the-loop test system designs, maturing concepts into on-time, manufacturable solutions.
- Develop testing procedures, specify test criteria, evaluate data, and recommend strategic improvements for test equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and technical leadership, including recruiting, mentoring, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
- Prioritize complex schedules based on product introduction timelines, guide test equipment purchasing decisions, and frequently interact with external clients and cross-functional teams.
