One of North America's fastest-growing, industry-leading custom manufacturing powerhouses in Southampton, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician II to serve as the critical bridge between production operations and engineering teams. In this dynamic role, you won't just be measuring parts; you will utilize advanced precision equipment (such as CMMs), drive root-cause investigations, and champion continuous improvement for highly complex components in the aerospace and defense sector.
The starting hourly rate is up to $42/hr, depending on experience, complemented by a quarterly bonus, health, and retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
- Support root cause investigations and assist in developing corrective and preventive action plans
- Ensure adherence to ISO, customer, and internal quality standards and documentation requirements
- Assist in auditing internal processes and workstations for compliance with quality and process standards
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct advanced inspections of components and assemblies using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators)
- Collect and analyze inspection data, generate reports, and make recommendations based on findings
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), PPAPs, and capability studies in support of new and existing product launches
- Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives
