responsibilities:
- Lead the development of innovative electromechanical products from early concepts all the way through manufacturing, taking ownership of projects from start to finish
- Work directly with clients and cross functional engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high quality products on time
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks, applying your experience with machined parts, plastics, sheet metal and other manufacturing processes
- Get hands-on with prototypes, testing and product validation, using tools like FEA, tolerance analysis and engineering calculations to ensure successful designs
- Share your knowledge by mentoring junior engineers while helping drive technical excellence across multiple product development projects
- Bring 6+ years of product development experience, proven mechanical design skills and a passion for creating innovative products that make it from concept to real world
