Manufacturer in the Cape Girardeau/Sikeston area is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to add to their team for a first shift position. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or manufacturing and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Three years of previous supervisory experience required, as well as a good understanding of OSHA guidelines and HAACP principles. Relocation provided for the right candidate!

responsibilities:
- Lead 24/7 facility manufacturing operations and ensure strict compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and GMP requirements, serving as site lead in the Associate Director's absence.
- Oversee and develop Manufacturing Area Leads, Supervisors, and production personnel to build agile, empowered, and autonomous teams.
- Drive key business metrics by managing labor costs, maximizing Operating Equipment Efficiency (OEE), and executing year-over-year waste reduction initiatives.
- Champion a world-class safety culture, taking direct ownership of site-specific environmental programs and ensuring compliance with HACCP principles.
- Execute continuous improvement manufacturing standards and lean initiatives to optimize site safety, quality, output, and cost performance.
- Lead a team of 8-10 direct reports
- B.S. in Engineering (preferred) or manufacturing
- At least 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing, driving continuous improvement
- Previous supervisory experience
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
- Experience with HAACP
