We are seeking a Project Engineer to join and industry leading solar developer in Arlington, VA! Sit within a supportive "pod" team in a state-of-the-art office to manage crucial project lifecycles, contract administration, and EPC partner relationships. You will need a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Construction Management, or Environmental Science preferred) and 1-3 years of experience in project engineering, coordination, or construction management capacity. responsibilities:
- Act as a daily liaison for our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partners, helping coordinate communication and track project progress.
- Gain hands-on experience managing critical project documents by reviewing and routing RFIs, submittals, and change orders within Procore.
- Work alongside your Project Manager to track project timelines and milestones from the initial Notice to Proceed (NTP) through to completion.
- Partner with our separate, dedicated construction managers and QA/QC teams to help ensure our physical projects are built to drawing specifications.
- Participate in team strategy and coordination meetings, learning the ropes of project management with a clear path to independent ownership over time.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (relevant internships or co-ops count!)
- A basic understanding of construction drawings and a desire to learn project management tools like Procore.
- A four-year degree in a STEM field (such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Environmental Science)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
