responsibilities:
- Independently develop, configure, and program DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems (including Siemens and Rockwell) for process automation in a hazardous chemical manufacturing facility.
- Efficiently troubleshoot control system hardware and software, implement corrective actions, and assist with loop and interlock tests for new processes and annual ISO calibrations.
- Establish the engineering design basis and create comprehensive design documentation (e.g., PFDs, PIDs, interlock matrices) for new and existing facilities in compliance with department standards.
- Champion a Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time culture by actively participating in Design Reviews and PHAs, while applying strict codes for hazardous materials handling.
