responsibilities:
- Accurately measure part dimensions such as length, angles, and radii using precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and X-ray equipment.
- Conduct meticulous first-run, in-process, and final part inspections, alongside airflow tests, to ensure all machined work pieces conform strictly to specifications.
- Interpret and diligently follow written inspection instructions, customer specifications, and rigorous quality requirements within a manufacturing shop environment.
- Utilize computerized shop floor tools and MS Excel proficiency to accurately complete, manage, and track all necessary inspection forms and reports.
