responsibilities:
- Prepare and optimize experimental samples, including cleaning, mounting, loading FOUPs, and crafting high-precision TEM lamellas using focused ion beam (FIB) tools.
- Operate advanced analytical metrology systems (SEM, FIB, TEM) to execute EDS analysis, analyze critical dimensions, and capture high-quality imaging.
- Perform routine system maintenance (such as flash, plasma cleaning, and calibrations), troubleshoot tool issues, and coordinate repairs and supplies with external vendors.
- Manage laboratory job queues and interface directly with requestors to understand their detailed requirements, communicate results, and maintain high lab throughput.
- Maintain rigorous administrative and safety standards by updating documentation, following laboratory SOPs, and logging and uploading critical performance data to the network.
