responsibilities:
- Design and integrate industrial automation and control systems, including PLC controls, motor controls, and general machine controls.
- Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and high-voltage (480VAC) power generation and distribution architectures.
- Translate complex project requirements into viable electromechanical system designs while validating solutions through testing and analysis.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers, designers, and drafters on cross-functional design efforts.
- Collaborate across teams to determine the technical and economic feasibility of new equipment designs or system modifications.
