responsibilities:
- Conduct receiving, in-process, and outbound visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
- Review quality documentation, process data transactions, and generate detailed manual or computerized reports to formally accept or reject products.
- Maintain strict adherence to ASME Y14.5 geometric tolerancing, FAA guidelines, DFAR, Nadcap, and internal AQL sampling procedures.
- Leverage 5+ years of expertise to create precise First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
- Evaluate and enforce all flowed-down commercial and military requirements from customer and supplier purchase orders, process plans, and chemical/physical test reports.
