responsibilities:
- Measurement Strategy: Recommend optimal measurement tools (hand tools, custom fixtures, optical/vision/touch probe CMMs) and provide design input for part fixtures based on new product dimensions.
- Process Creation & Programming: Develop and validate CMM measurement programs and procedures; prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and gauge calibration certifications.
- Qualification & Testing: Execute product qualification activities, including FAI, Gauge R&R studies, and capability analysis.
- Production & QA Support: Troubleshoot CMM programs, analyze measurement data, and assist in dispositioning non-conforming materials to maintain workflow.
- Calibration & Maintenance: Inspect, calibrate, and test equipment and standards to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
