responsibilities:
- Develop and modify complex 3D solid models and 2D mechanical drawings for products and components.
- Transform sketches, design concepts, and verbal instructions into detailed engineering specifications.
- Create and manage comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical data packages.
- Responsible for creation and documentation of 3D CAD models and related drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation
- Coordinate drawing documentation in preparation for formal production releases
- Associate degree (Ideally in drafting & design)
- 4+ years of relevant design experience
- Experience creating 2D or 3D mechanical models
- 3D CAD experience (PTC CREO, Solidworks or related software)
- Experience with PLM software (Windchill preferred)
