responsibilities:
- Research, design, and prototype medical device components and systems, translating clinical user needs into precise, system-level design inputs.
- Develop bench testing methods, conduct measurement system analysis (DOE), and execute process validation plans to evaluate device safety, reliability, and effectiveness.
- Utilize CAD and CAE systems to model new designs, produce detailed engineering drawings, and construct accurate bills of materials (BOMs).
- Create and independently maintain critical engineering documentation, such as the Design History File (DHF), in strict accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability, yield, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) efficiency.
