responsibilities:
- Serve as the Mechanical Lead on simple/combined cycle power generation and heavy industrial projects while directing technical designs, project schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare equipment inquiry/RFQ packages, perform detailed technical bid evaluations, and review vendor documentation for compliance with project and ASME standards.
- Develop job notes, technical scopes of work, and man-hour proposal estimates while conducting field walk-downs to gather project data.
- Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques while mentoring junior staff and presenting technical insights to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
