Switchgear Design Engineer for a leading manufacturer based near New Berlin, WI. Responsible to design, validate, and bring new transfer switch products to market.

responsibilities:
- Designs, validates, and brings new transfer switch products
- Supports transfer switch products from concept through mass production
- Specifies precise new product functional requirements
- Designs, tests and integrates a variety of increasingly complex components to produce final designs
- Utilizes CAD or CAE systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings
- Optimize increasingly complex designs for manufacturability
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
- Must have at least five (5) years of design engineering experience
- Experience in mechanism design
- Experience in switchgear design
- 3D modeling expericne (Pro/E, CREO or SolidWorks)
