responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and enforce environmental health and safety (EHS) policies to guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform routine safety inspections, maintain safety equipment inventory, and supervise external hazardous waste removal and consolidation vendors.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions across various departments on emergency response, hazardous material handling, and workplace ergonomics.
- Proactively identify environmental health hazards, recommend immediate corrective actions, and monitor industrial health and compliance.
- Serve as an active liaison with regulatory agencies and collaborate with team members to administer the worker's compensation program.
