Great client is seeking a detail-oriented MRO Receiving Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will support supplier fulfillment and inbound logistics by tracking vendor delivery commitments, processing receipt transactions, and maintaining inventory flow across our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business unit. You will serve as a crucial operational link between suppliers, shop-floor, and finance to keep parts moving and vendor accounts current.

responsibilities:
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and ship commitments to ensure on-time delivery of MRO goods.
- Track inbound shipments and ensure all transactions are promptly logged into the system upon arrival.
- Generate high-volume Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASNs) for suppliers not using the SAP NS2 Ariba portal.
- Physically pair ASNs with incoming packages on the floor so receiving staff can execute receiving transactions without delay.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve supplier-related shipment errors (paperwork omissions, quantity mismatches, part discrepancies).
- Initiate and track Force Pay workflow requests to prevent payment delays and mitigate vendor credit hold risks.
- Partner directly with Finance and suppliers to investigate and resolve payment disputes or invoice holds.
- Must have prior experience in a manufacturing, MRO, or aerospace environment.
- Background in inbound logistics, procurement support, receiving, or supplier management
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with SAP (specifically inventory/receiving modules) and SAP Ariba (or equivalent enterprise ERP systems like Oracle/NetSuite).
- Basic knowledge of Procurement & AP Workflows
