A Senior Project Engineer is needed for an automotive organization. The Senior Project Engineer will lead pre-production trial planning and problem-solving to advance manufacturing capabilities. This role drives process optimization through Lean principles, root cause analysis, and quality standards. You will collaborate across departments to ensure efficient trial execution, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, alongside 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience winding, assembly, or electrolyte filling-is required, along with project management capabilities. This position requires flexibility for up to 20% overtime, weekend work during shutdowns, and up to 15% travel. This is a long-term contract role.
