Our client is seeking a creative Mechanical Design Engineer (ME/MET degree, or AS) to join their close-knit team. Perfect for entry-level talent or a hands-on tech enthusiast with 3D CAD skills (Inventor/AutoCAD preferred), this role offers growth offloading day-to-day engineering, production, and custom product design responsibilities.

responsibilities:
- Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for custom and catalog product lines.
- Collaborate directly with customers to evaluate requirements and adapt existing components to fit their needs.
- Provide hands-on operational support to the plant floor, assisting with quality control and production needs.
- Identify manufacturing issues and propose practical solutions to keep production and vendors on schedule.
