What You'll Do
- Master Diagnostics: Go beyond basic code-reading—use advanced diagnostic scanners, test drives, and sharp mechanical intuition to pinpoint tricky engine, transmission, and electrical issues.
- Precision Mechanical Repairs: Overhaul and restore key vehicle systems, tearing down and replacing worn brakes, suspension components, steering systems, belts, and exhausts.
- Routine Maintenance Excellence: Keep everyday drivers safely on the road with routine fluid services, tire rotations, filter replacements, and thorough bumper-to-bumper inspections.
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Track down gremlins, diagnose wiring, replace alternators, and tune-up complex modern vehicle electronics.
- Maintain Shop Standards: Keep clean service records, run a safe and orderly work environment, and ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
- Proven Track Record: 2+ years of hands-on experience under the hood.
- Diagnostic Intuition: Comfortable reading wiring schematics, using diagnostic gear, and solving complex mechanical puzzles.
- Tool Ownership: Your own set of everyday hand and power tools.
- Reliability: A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pride in doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Inspection: Run electronic diagnostic scans, perform test drives, and visually inspect engine, transmission, steering, and braking systems to identify faults.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled fluid changes (oil, coolant, transmission), filter replacements, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and tune-ups.
- System Repairs: Repair or replace worn and defective components, including brake pads, rotors, shocks, struts, belts, hoses, and exhaust systems.
- Electrical Work: Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, battery systems, alternators, starters, and sensors.
- Documentation & Compliance: Log completed repairs and maintenance tasks accurately, adhere to local safety regulations, and safely dispose of hazardous fluids.
