Global company with locations nationwide is targeting a Metallurgical Engineer for their facility in the Mobile AL area. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of metallurgy experience in the metals manufacturing industry.
BS in Engineering or related technical/military training required.

responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on expertise in steel processing and process control, resolving technical issues on the shop floor and mentoring internal teams.
- Coach plant personnel on metallurgical principles, process control, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Lead product development from initial trial planning and testing through to full-scale production and evaluation.
- Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process enhancements, and product quality improvements.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact across commercial, operations, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless development initiatives.
- BS in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in the metals manufacturing industry
- Deep understanding of lab testing equipment and ISO 9001 standards
