responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings using Creo for parts, assemblies, and tooling in strict compliance with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards.
- Design specialized tooling, fixtures, and hardware to optimize grinding, polishing, and metrology operations in precision optics production.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles across traditional machining and FDM 3D printing to deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Maintain drawing release packages and revision controls, managing models and documentation to ensure strict configuration management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and metrology specialists, to translate concepts into production hardware.
