responsibilities:
- Set up, program, modify, and operate CMM equipment (e.g., Calypso) to execute first-article, in-process, and final dimensional inspections.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, models, and GD&T specifications while using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and optical comparators.
- Generate detailed inspection reports, complete FAIRs, and document quality records following Our Client's quality standards.
- Identify nonconformances, collaborate with engineering and production teams, and drive root-cause investigations and continuous improvement.
- Maintain tool calibration, follow strict safety procedures, and assist with training operators on print reading and measurement techniques.
