responsibilities:
- Serve as the plant operations project manager for New Product Development (NPD/NPI), coordinating engineering, quality, production, and materials teams to hit launch targets.
- Drive manufacturing inputs into early NPD designs using DFMA, design reviews, and FMEA to improve product reliability and ensure error-free launches.
- Build comprehensive product cost models and conduct Make vs. Buy analyses using cash cost modeling, capacity evaluations, and asset optimization.
- Implement Plan for Every Part (PFEP), cost reduction strategies, and supply chain integrity protocols to meet scheduled 'Inventory in Stock' dates.
- Act as a change agent by applying engineering fundamentals to refine manufacturing processes, project management practices, and time-to-market workflows.
