The Maintenance Supervisor for our client, a Michigan-based metal stamping company, is responsible for developing and executing strategic preventative maintenance plans to maximize long-term equipment reliability. This leadership role requires a proactive, problem-solving approach to tackle operational challenges head-on, remove obstacles for the team, and foster an accountable "Can-Do" culture that keeps production running smoothly.

responsibilities:
Direct maintenance operations and oversee assigned personnel

Install, diagnose, and repair complex industrial machinery, presses, and facility systems using blueprints, PLCs, precision instruments, and power tools

Develop and execute routine maintenance programs for mechanical systems (motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools) to minimize downtime and ensure production quality

Fabricate, weld, and alter equipment components, safely disassembling heavy mechanisms using hoists and cranes to extract and replace defective parts

 
qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience

Experience with manufacturing maintenance

Troubleshooting of electronics/controls
