The FPGA Engineer would be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying high-performance FPGA architectures that power the company's next-generation Automated Test Equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware, software, and systems engineering to solve complex signal integrity, processing, and high-speed data transmission challenges.

responsibilities:
- Solution Lifecycle Leadership: Lead FPGA projects end-to-end, from initial requirements through logic implementation, integration, and lab bring-up.
- Logic Development & Automation: Design high-performance FPGA logic for complex interfaces and subsystems, leveraging Python and TCL for automation and tool development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with hardware, software, systems, and DV teams to deliver integrated system solutions with comprehensive simulation and test coverage.
- Optimization & Lab Debug: Drive timing closure, resource optimization, and performance tuning while conducting lab bring-up and root-cause analysis using JTAG and test instrumentation.
- System Design Influence: Collaborate on PCB and system architecture decisions to optimize FPGA performance and board-level integration.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to the engineering team and mentor junior engineers.
