responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and analyze complex digital FPGA hardware designs using VHDL/Verilog RTL coding to satisfy DO-254 DAL A objectives for Our Client.
- Develop, review, and maintain hardware requirements in DOORS, ensuring complete end-to-end traceability from system-level specs to implementation.
- Develop testbenches, execute functional testing, and qualify design/verification tools to ensure error-free performance for Level A hardware.
- Maintain meticulous design records, verification results, and traceability matrices required by certification authorities on behalf of Our Client.
- Partner closely with systems engineers, software teams, and certification bodies to ensure integrated safety and mission success for Our Client.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering or science field plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience in FPGA development and DO-254 compliance processes.
Expertise in VHDL/Verilog RTL coding, digital circuit architecture, timing closure, testbench verification, SystemVerilog, and simulation/synthesis tools like Vivado, Modelsim, or Quartus.
Strong knowledge of DO-254 DAL A certification guidance, verification planning, tool qualification, and revision control systems like Git or Subversion.
