Mechanical Maintenance/Manufacturing Engineer for a leading industrial manufacturer based near Cartersville, GA. This role is reponsible for developing, vetting, implementing, and verifying engineered solutions to enhance productivity and reliability of manufacturing equipment.

responsibilities:
- Ensure mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems are designed, installed, and maintained throughout the plant
- Develop scopes of work and specifications for procurement and installation of equipment, materials, or parts
- Research and analyze data such as equipment design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design and application
- Utilizes CAD software and other design and modeling tools to plan, develop, and improve mechanical parts or components
- Utilizes technical instruments to develop specifications for new parts, modifications, or prototypes
- Coordinate maintenance, and repair activities with production operations to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment
- Evaluate and recommend modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
- B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have at least five (5) years of production equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- CAD experience
- Proficiency in design and specification of mechanical components
- Advanced equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
