Test Lab Technician located in Huntersville, NC for a leading manufacturer of consumer goods. This role is responsible to set up and perform manual, automated, materials and environmental performance testing.
This is a contract opportunity for 6 months with possible extension.

responsibilities:
- Set up and perform manual, automated, materials and environmental performance testing based on applicable standards
- Assist test engineering with acquiring and setting up new test equipment
- Abilities to operate, troubleshoot, resolve issues with electronic and mechanical test equipment
- Monitoring of test controls, effective documentation, and communication of the results both verbally and with formal test reports
- Document equipment information, create work instructions to be used by the test technicians, and create calibration schedule if needed
- Must have product testing experience
- Experience following test procedures and equipment standard operating instructions
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot, resolve issues with electronic and mechanical test equipment
- Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel
- Associate or Bachelor degree in a STEM major
- Experience in operating FTIR and DSC Calorimeters
